Aurora Health Care is a national leader in developing and implementing best practices in clinical improvement and disease management. In 2008, Aurora analyzed the effect of 27 initiatives involving more than 800 Aurora physicians and documented the following impact:

Aurora's total net service revenue grew from $3.2 billion in 2007 to $3.5 billion in 2008. Revenue from inpatient services decreased 2.1% while revenue from outpatient hospital visits and visits to clinics rose 25.5%.
