Geriatrics Fellowship ProgramMichael L. Malone, MD Dr. Malone graduated with honors from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. He went on to medical school at Texas Tech University and did his residency in Internal Medicine at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee. He did a Geriatric Fellowship at the Center for Senior Health and Longevity of Aurora Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Malone is a Professor of Medicine with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health at the Milwaukee Clinical Campus, and Section Head of Geriatrics at Aurora Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Malone has written multiple publications and abstracts on geriatrics health services research and on innovations in medical education. Dr. Malone has presented at multiple Grand Rounds and Geriatrics Noon Conferences. He is the Editor of an “on-line” CME program that collaborates with the American Geriatrics Society. Dr. Malone is also the Coordinating Editor of a monthly publication entitled “Practical Reviews in Geriatric Medicine”. Dr. Malone has served on various committees throughout the community and is the Chairman of the Continuing Medical Education Committee at Aurora Sinai Medical Center. Richard Kane, MD Dr. Kane attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also earned his medical degree. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee. Dr. Kane currently holds the appointment of Associate Professor of Internal Medicine with the University of Wisconsin Medical School at the Milwaukee Clinical Campus, and provides clinical care for the Center for Senior Health and Longevity. He is certified in Medical Direction and currently serves as the Medical Director for five nursing homes in the greater Milwaukee area. He has performed as a physician advisor for multiple organizations throughout the U.S. Dr. Kane has presented at various Geriatrics Noon Conferences and Grand Rounds. He also has written multiple publications and abstracts on geriatrics health services research and innovations in medical education. Farrol Sims, MD Dr. Sims currently holds the appointment of Associate Professor of Family Medicine/Geriatrics for the University of Wisconsin Medical School at the Milwaukee Clinical Campus. He is an active medical physician for the Center for Senior Health and Longevity at Aurora Sinai Medical Center and the Johnston Primary Care Clinic in Milwaukee. Dr. Sims attended the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He did his residency in Pediatrics and OB/GYN at Baragwanath Hospital affiliated with the University of Witwatersrand. He completed fellowships in General Practice and Division of Geriatrics with the Department of Medicine at Edenvale Hospital located in Johannesburg. Dr. Sims has written multiple publications and abstracts on geriatrics health services research and innovations in medical education. He also has served on various committees throughout the Milwaukee area. Reyhan Demircioglu, MD Dr. Reyhan Demircioglu is a graduate from Trakya University School of Medicine in Edirne, Turkey. She did her residency in Internal Medicine at Goztepe Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey and at Aurora Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Demircioglu then completed a Geriatrics Fellowship at Aurora Health Care/Aurora Geriatrics Institute. She currently holds the appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and provides clinical care for the Center for Senior Health and Longevity. Soryal Soryal, MD Dr. Soryal Soryal is a graduate from the University of Alexandria in Egypt. He did his residency in Family Practice/Internal Medicine at Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, OH. After completing his residency, Dr. Soryal went to Honolulu, Hawaii to pursue a fellowship in Geriatrics. His current appointment is Clinical Assistant Processor of Medicine with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and is the medical director for the Center for Senior Health and Longevity. Ariba Khan, MD Dr. Ariba Khan is a gradate from Pakistan. She completed residency in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics Fellowship at St. Louis University Hospital. Dr. Khan is currently holding the appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine with the University of Wisconsin Medical School. In addition, she is Associate Director for the Geriatrics Fellowship Program and Medical Director for the ACE Program at Aurora Sinai Medical Center, and provides clinical care for the Center for Senior Health and Longevity.
