Clinical Pastoral EducationCongregation based CPE informationThis program offered in the Aurora South Region is currently forming. It will meet weekly from January 3, 2008 through May 1, 2008 on Thursdays. It is offered to persons already involved in ministry in the parish setting. First choice will be given to Clergy and Parish Professionals with 5 years experience in the parish. A strong emphasis on spiritual self care and family systems will be included. The 300 total hours of clinical work will be done in their current ministry sites.
January 8, 2009 - May 14, 2009 Applications are reviewed as they are received with classes often filling quickly. The application process requires an on-site interview. A non-refundable enrollment fee of $100 is required after acceptance. This fee is applied to tuition. Scholarships and special payment plans are available for those with financial need. About the program supervisorReverend Sue Ott-Holland is a certified ACPE Supervisor. Sue has trained and worked with Aurora Health Care for more than 10 years. An ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church, she served as a pastor for 12 years in United Methodist congregations in Southeastern Wisconsin. She has also served on the Board of Ordained Ministry, as the Wisconsin Conference Chair of the Order of Elders and as Adjunct Faculty for Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary as well as or their Church Relations Committee.
