Gastroenterology Fellowship Program

The Aurora Gastroenterology Fellowship Program was created to offer gastroenterologists the freedom to pursue a wide range of practice experiences within their chosen specialty. To gain an excellent background for a solid and successful private practice, GI fellows can expect to see sufficient patient volume and variety in the GI fellowship program. In addition, the program makes it possible to take advantage of research opportunities in virtually any area of clinical interest.

GI fellows gain a majority of their experience at the Aurora Sinai Medical Center campus. Fellows spend several months on rotation at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, receiving a complementary breadth of patient care experience in Inpatient GI, Hepatology, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. During the program, fellows are required to attend weekly didactic conferences and are responsible for instructional sessions for the residents who rotate through our consult service.
