Aurora Health Care, a not-for-profit health care organization, was created around a single idea: There is a better way to provide health care. We are working with physicians to provide better access, better service and better outcomes for their patients than they can find anywhere else. Aurora is a growing, vibrant organization dedicated to promoting health, preventing illness, and providing state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment, whenever and wherever we can best meet people's individual and family needs. Aurora is committed to maintaining caring environments, sensitive to the physical, spiritual, social and economic needs of both patients and those who serve them. The Aurora system includes 15 hospitals, more than 170 physician clinics, numerous ambulatory diagnostic and treatment centers, home health care and social services agencies and over 110 pharmacies, located in 90 communities throughout eastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois .
U.S. News & World Report has recognized Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in its 2013-14 Best Hospitals rankings. We ranked #1 in the Milwaukee metro area and #2 in Wisconsin. In fact, along with our partners at Aurora West Allis Medical Center and Aurora Sinai Medical Center, we took the top three spots for the Milwaukee metro area.
