Salary and benefits

We believe the choice of residency training should depend on the educational merits of the program, not special benefits or "perks." Accordingly, salary and benefits provided reflect our emphasis on medical education and our sense of appreciation toward our housestaff. In addition to the general housestaff benefits, TY residents are provided the following educational stipend:

  • $450 Books, medical equipment required by the program, journal subscriptions, computer software
  • $1,000 Conference stipend at the Program Director's discretion
  • $200 Hand-held Assist Devices

For more information on benefits, view the Aurora benefits page.
