Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha to hold volunteer open house October 11Thursday, October 05, 2006Are you looking for a unique way to give back to the community? Consider volunteering a portion of your time to Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. People interested in volunteering their time can attend an open house from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., Wed., Oct. 11, Aurora Medical Center, 10400 75th Street, Kenosha. Peggy Crane, coordinator, volunteer services, Aurora Medical Center, said there are many benefits of volunteering including fellowship, a sense of belonging, and an opportunity to give something back to the community. Volunteers and staff will describe current volunteer opportunities and offer a brief tour of the hospital. Refreshments will be served. "This is an excellent way of giving back to the community and connecting with others who share a spirit of compassion and caring,'' said Crane.
