Aurora Lakeland Medical Center to hold volunteer open house Oct. 17Friday, October 06, 2006
Are you looking for a unique way to give back to the community? Consider volunteering a portion of your time to Aurora Lakeland Medical Center.
People interested in volunteering their time can attend an open house from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., Tues., Oct. 17, atrium, Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, W3985 County Road NN. Anyone 16 and over is eligible to volunteer. For more information, please call 262-741-2924.
Connie Herrick, regional supervisor, volunteer services, Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, says there are many benefits of volunteering including fellowship, a sense of belonging, and an opportunity to give something back to the community. Volunteers are needed in numerous areas.
"This is a great way for people to use their creativity and meet new people,'' said Herrick.
