Aurora QuickCare opens in PewaukeeMonday, February 12, 2007Aurora QuickCare will open a Pewaukee site Feb.13 inside the Wal-Mart at 411 Pewaukee Rd. Aurora QuickCare is a new approach to delivering fast, convenient and affordable diagnostic services and treatment for common family illnesses. A typical visit to an Aurora QuickCare site takes 15 minutes and costs $39. "Patients appreciate the convenience and accessibility of QuickCare," said Janet Teske, an advanced practice nurse and Aurora QuickCare manager. "They are very happy to be able to have common illnesses diagnosed quickly. We can print out information about their visit for patients to take back to their family physicians. Those who require follow-up care and do not have a physician receive information about nearby doctors who are accepting new patients." Hours for the new Pewaukee Aurora QuickCare will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The last patient is seen 30 minutes prior to closing each day. The phone number is 262-695-4439. QuickCare is an option for people who might otherwise seek more costly emergency or urgent care for non-emergency medical conditions. Patients who require a prescription receive one immediately. No appointments are needed at QuickCare, and patients have an answer within minutes. Ailments treated/services provided include:
