New Valders clinic to openTuesday, February 13, 2007
The new Aurora Health Center is open at 721 S. Calumet Drive, replacing the Aurora Manitowoc Clinic on Wilson Street.
The 1-story, brick office building will house family practice physician Paul Samundsen, M.D. The 4,000-square-foot clinic provides the full spectrum of medical treatment from newborn to elderly care. Dr. Samundsen now sees patients at the clinic on Tuesday afternoons and Thursdays, and soon will be expanding hours in Valders.
The center will feature outpatient diagnostic services, including an on-site laboratory and x-ray. Aurora’s electronic medical records system is used at the clinic, making it easy for patients to have their records accessed at other Aurora sites throughout the state.
Aurora Health Care is a not-for-profit Wisconsin health care provider and a nationally recognized leader in efforts to improve the quality of health care. Aurora offers services at sites in more than 90 communities throughout eastern Wisconsin.
