Aurora opens new health center

Wednesday, March 07, 2007

Full spectrum of medical treatment available for Mayville residents

A new Aurora Health Center in Mayville officially opened March 5, 2007. The 1-story, brick physician office building is located at N8210 State Rd. 28 in Mayville. It occupies approximately 4,000 square feet.

"We are excited to bring convenient, affordable health care to the residents of Mayville," said Mark Thompson, administrator of the new health center. "Aurora Health Care looks forward to becoming part of the community and providing quality medical care to the families in the area."

The new Aurora Health Center is home to physician's assistant Britta Braden, who provides a full spectrum of medical treatment from newborn to elderly care. The center features outpatient diagnostic services, including an on-site laboratory and x-ray.

"When you can see your doctor and receive your diagnostic and laboratory tests all in one place, it makes the health care process less stressful," said Thompson. "Our goal is to provide greater access and convenience to our patients. The first level of care, or primary care, needs to be close to home, and that is what this new clinic gives the residents of Mayville."

To schedule an appointment at the Aurora Health Center in Mayville, please call 920-397-9175. Walk-in patients are welcome. A grand opening event is planned for May 2007 to officially welcome the new health center to the community and offer residents a first-hand look at the facility.
