Aurora announces Cancer Care Connection seriesWednesday, January 23, 2008
Aurora Health Care announces a Cancer Care Connection support group series for 2008.
"This series is a great way to learn about the emotional aspects of cancer and how they affect the body," said O. Halaweh, MD, a medical oncologist, hematologist and internist at Aurora Health Center in Marinette. "It is important for patients and family members to know there are ways to cope with cancer. The Cancer Care Connection support group cares about the affects cancer has on individuals and wants to help."
Throughout the next year, there are 12 events scheduled. All of them are free and open to the community, including cancer patients, their family, friends, and caregivers. The presentations start at 6 p.m. and are held at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at the Aurora Health Center on Old Peshtigo Road in Marinette. Here is the schedule of events.
