21st Annual Lombardi Walk for Cancer Set For Saturday, June 14Friday, May 30, 2008The 21st Annual Lombardi Walk for Cancer will take place Saturday, June 14, at Menomonee Falls High School, W142 N8101 Merrimac Drive. Registration the day of the event is from 7:30 to 9 a.m. There will be a prewalk program at 8:30 a.m. with comments by former Green Bay Packer Bart Starr and his wife, Cherry, as well as other celebrities. Following the pre-walk program, wheelchair entrants and runners will line up at the front of the starting line, followed by the walkers. The 5K (3.1 mile) walk will begin at 9 a.m. Rollerblades and skates are strictly prohibited. There will be a finish-line tailgate party with food, complimentary refreshments, raffle and entertainment from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Parking is available at the Menomonee Falls High School and stadium parking lots. Entry forms can be picked up at all Aurora Pharmacies in the greater Milwaukee area and all Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinics. You may also contact the Lombardi office for entry forms at 414.649.7015. Pre-registration fees are $15 per adult, $8 per child (16 years or under). Cost for a family of 5 is $40 (children must be 16 years or younger). Fees the day of the event are $20 for adults, $10 for children and $45 for a family of five. Walk teams of 10 or more who raise at least $1,000 will have their registration fees waived.
