Aurora Offers Automated Appointment, Recall Reminders for PatientsMonday, June 09, 2008Aurora Health Care patients in Manitowoc County will now receive appointment reminders and calls to request appointments for preventative care and management of chronic conditions by an automated call system. “We’d like patients to know that they will be receiving automated calls,” said Rosalyn Beam of Aurora Health Care. “This new program will help ensure proper appointment notification for our patients. Not only will patients get reminder phone calls about previously scheduled appointments, they will also get calls to schedule appointments for preventative care clinic visits such as wellness exams or chronic conditions such as diabetes or asthma.” With the new system, after the appointment reminder is sent, patients can confirm or cancel their appointments. Patients who want to cancel or wish to reschedule will be identified and patients who want to reschedule will be contacted at a later date to reschedule their appointment. Aurora Health Care is a not-for-profit Wisconsin health care provider and a nationally recognized leader in efforts to improve the quality of health care. Aurora offers services at sites in more than 90 communities throughout eastern Wisconsin. ### Contact: Jen Strebel (920-496-6369) |
