Internal Medicine Physician Joins Aurora Health Center in MarinetteFriday, July 25, 2008Marinette, Wis.-Amjed Muhanna, M.D., has joined Aurora Health Center in Marinette, 4061 Old Peshtigo Road, as an internal medicine physician. Muhanna will begin seeing patients at the Marinette location on Aug. 11. Community members are invited to a free welcome reception on Monday, Aug. 25 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Aurora Health Center located at 4061 Old Peshtigo Road. As an internal medicine physician, Muhanna treats adults who may suffer from a broad range of conditions. He enjoys connecting with his patients to treat them on a more personal level. "Learning about patients' day-to-day lives helps me to more quickly diagnose their symptoms and determine the individual course of treatment," said Muhanna. He earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan in Southwest Asia and completed his residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Mich. To schedule an appointment, call (715) 732-8000. Early morning appointments starting at 7 a.m. will be available for patient convenience. Walk-in, lunch-hour and same-day appointments are also available.
