Aurora Health Care Hosts Open House at New Oconto Clinic on Aug. 9Thursday, July 31, 2008
Oconto, Wis. - Residents from Oconto and its surrounding communities are invited to an open house at Aurora Health Center in Oconto from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sat., Aug. 9. It is located at 530 Smith Avenue (Hwy. 41).
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the building, meet the caregivers, enjoy refreshments, receive a free first-aid kit and enter a drawing for a child's bike.
"We are proud to extend the quality service of Aurora Health Care to the residents of Oconto County," said Jean Mlsna, administrator of Aurora Health Care clinic operations for Marinette and Oconto counties. "Through our new community clinic, our patients in Oconto County have ready access to their primary health care provider and are linked to the wide variety of specialists in the Aurora system, if they require more complex care."
The facility will be led by Michele R. Sobeck, a family nurse practitioner who was born and raised in Oconto County. In addition to primary health care, lab and X-ray services will be available at the clinic.
The Aurora Health Center in Oconto is scheduled to open for patient appointments on Mon., Aug. 11. The clinic will be open Monday through Friday with Saturday hours available. For patient convenience, evening and noon hour appointments will also be available.
