Gastroenterologist Joins Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green BayFriday, August 15, 2008
Green Bay, Wis. - Bogdan Cristescu, M.D., a gastroenterologist, is now seeing patients at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, 2845 Greenbrier Road.
Cristescu completed his gastroenterology training at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
He is trained in all general endoscopic techniques as well as advanced techniques such as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and capsule endoscopy. These techniques allow a physician to obtain images of the digestive tract and its surrounding organs and to perform minimally invasive endoscopic therapy.
