Two Rivers, Wis. - Aurora Medical Center's Diabetes Support Group will discuss new advances and treatments for diabetes-related neuropathies on Monday, Sept. 8, at 6:30 p.m.

This month's meeting will feature Teasha Kaepernick, M.M.S., a physician assistant for BayCare Clinic Interventional Pain Management. The discussion will include how nerve damage associated with diabetes may affect a person's feet, legs, eyes and bodily functions.

The Diabetes Support Group holds meetings on the first Monday of each month in the Michigan Room at Aurora Medical Center, 5000 Memorial Drive, in Two Rivers.

Registration is not required, and meetings are open to individuals with diabetes, their families, friends and caregivers.
