MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The 23rd Annual Aurora Health Care Senior Celebration at the Zoo, will kick off at 9 a.m. on Friday, August 29th. This event is free to all attendees age 55 and older, however the zoo does require a parking fee of $10 per car or $14 per bus. Last year’s event attracted 12,000 participants and is expected to meet that mark again this year.

This year’s event promises a wide variety of entertainment and attractions. Some of the highlights include six bands; 64 exhibitors; Potawatomi Bingo; the entertainment group, Kids From Wisconsin; a large raffle and many other give aways. A variety of health screenings will also be provided, such as testing blood glucose levels, blood pressure and vision screenings. Guests will also be visited by, the Milwaukee Buck’s Mascot, Bango.

The Senior Celebration is open to the public and is scheduled to run between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
