Aurora Visiting Nurse Association Names Tom WhiteVice President of Ancillary ServicesTuesday, October 07, 2008Milwaukee, WI -- Tom White, director of Distribution Services at Aurora Health Care, has been named vice president of Ancillary Services for the Aurora Visiting Nurse Association (VNA). White has been at Aurora since 2003, working to advance Aurora's overall supply chain operations. In his new position, White's duties will include providing strategic direction and oversight of all assigned services within the VNA. Those are: Pediatrics, Durable Medical Equipment, Respiratory Therapy, Warehouse, and Rental Division. He also will be responsible for ensuring that operations are in compliance with state and federal guidelines and ensuring that operational processes are streamlined and use Aurora's approach to quality. "We are delighted to add Tom to the VNA team, and we look forward to his assisting us in creating efficiencies that will allow us to continue to provide the very best in patient home care," said Candace Hennessy, president of the VNA. The Aurora VNA is a not-for-profit agency that has been committed to keeping people independent in their homes since 1907, and is the most comprehensive source of home care services in eastern Wisconsin.
