Aurora Health Care and Aurora Freedom 55 + to Sponsor Resource Fair for Older AdultsThursday, October 16, 2008Milwaukee, WI -- The public is invited to the fourth annual "aging in place" resource fair sponsored by Aurora Freedom 55 +, Pope Financial Services and Wells Fargo & Co. from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Wilson Park Senior Center, 2601 W. Howard Ave. The goal of the free event is to provide information about services and resources that enable older adults to live independently longer. Free refreshments will be served.
In addition to Aurora, other participants are Family Caregiver Support Network, Interfaith Older Adult Programs, Home Instead Senior Care, Department on Aging, WE Energies, Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups, Social Development Commission, Social Security Administration, Badger Association for the Blind, Wisconsin Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, AARP, Arthritis Foundation, Wisconsin Parkinson Association, Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Milwaukee County Veteran Association and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee College of Nursing.
