MILWAUKEE, WI -- Aurora Health Care has been named 73rd in the list of 100 Best Places to Work by Modern Healthcare magazine. It was the only health care provider in eastern Wisconsin listed.

The program recognizes health care workplaces that enable employees to perform at their optimum level to provide patients with the best possible care and services.

How the list was created
Modern Healthcare entered into a partnership with the Best Companies Group, a Harrisburg, Pa.-based firm that conducts regional "best places to work" programs across the country. On behalf of Modern Healthcare, the Best Companies Group conducted two surveys of health care companies that volunteered to participate in the program. The first survey was a questionnaire for a participating employer. The second was a satisfaction survey of a participating employer's employees. Some 238 healthcare companies participated.
