Aurora Lakeland Medical Center Expands Gastroenterology ServicesMonday, November 24, 2008Elkhorn, Wis. -- With the increasing demand for gastroenterology services in Walworth County, Aurora Lakeland Medical Center welcomes a new group of gastroenterology physician specialists to the hospital. The new team has provided comprehensive gastroenterology services at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington for several years. The new physicians are:
“Our goal is to provide services that people need close to home and work,’’ said Kathy Skowlund, vice president and chief administrative officer, Aurora Lakeland Medical Center. “We are pleased to welcome this highly trained and experienced group to our physician team and community,’’ she added. The integrated team of board certified gastroenterology specialists and surgeons will the range of services from screening colonoscopy to polyp removal and advanced diagnostics such as endoscopic ultrasound. Dr. Pastika added that the new team of gastroenterology physicians looks forward to collaborating with the other physician specialists at the hospital, including the general surgeons. “This is a formidable addition to the hospital that will make a huge difference for our patients,’’ he said. “Aurora Lakeland Medical Center will have gastroenterology physician specialists on site every day.
