Aurora BayCare Offers Health Education Series for Women, March 4 to April 8Friday, February 06, 2009Green Bay, Wis. - Aurora BayCare Medical Center presents THE PRIME OF OUR LIVES, a six-session interactive educational series for women ages 45 and older. Seminars will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on consecutive Wednesdays from March 4 to April 8 at Aurora BayCare Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center, 1160 Kepler Drive, in Green Bay. Course topics address the health care needs and concerns of women. Each session gives an overview of specific diseases, conditions, risk factors, preventive medicine, diagnostic options and treatment methods specifically for women in this age group. Health conditions covered include menopause; cardiovascular health; mental health; cancer; and bone, muscle and joint health. Participants will learn from both health care providers and the discussion among their peers in an informal classroom setting. Topics and speakers are as follows:
