Green Bay, Wis. - Aurora BayCare Medical Center presents THE PRIME OF OUR LIVES, a six-session interactive educational series for women ages 45 and older.

Seminars will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on consecutive Wednesdays from March 4 to April 8 at Aurora BayCare Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center, 1160 Kepler Drive, in Green Bay.

Course topics address the health care needs and concerns of women. Each session gives an overview of specific diseases, conditions, risk factors, preventive medicine, diagnostic options and treatment methods specifically for women in this age group.

Health conditions covered include menopause; cardiovascular health; mental health; cancer; and bone, muscle and joint health. Participants will learn from both health care providers and the discussion among their peers in an informal classroom setting.

• March 4: Taking Charge of Your Health, William Morrissey, M.D., Obstetrics and Gynecology
• March 11: Putting Your Heart Into Your Health, Francis G. Wolf, M.D., F.A.C.C., Cardiology
• March 18: Understanding Menopause and Making Choices, Stephen Sehring, M.D., Obstetrics and Gynecology; and John Utrie, D.O., Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery
• March 25: Mental Health: The Path to Self-Awareness, Jay Livingston, M.S., L.P.C., S.A.C., Psychotherapy
• April 1: Cancer: Understanding and Managing Your Risks, Kathy Buyeski, nurse practitioner; Amy Schoenberger, registered dietitian
• April 8: The Musculoskeletal System: Keeping Your Bones, Muscles and Joints Healthy, Ann Chizek-Liermann, nurse practitioner, Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine; Linda Freeman, personal trainer.

A one-time fee of $20 covers all six sessions. Each participant will receive a comprehensive workbook and weekly giveaways.
