Marinette, Wis. - Aurora Health Center will host its monthly Diabetes Support Group meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

Aurora Family Medicine Physician Rebecca Reim, M.D., will discuss how the chronic day-to-day effects of diabetes can lead to depression. She will focus on the importance of exercise and support of family and friends. Reim will also hold a question-and-answer session for those attendees with specific questions.

The series of support groups meets the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings are free and open to individuals with diabetes, their family, friends and caregivers. Presentations take place from 6 to 7 p.m. and are held in the conference room at Aurora Health Center at 4061 Old Peshtigo Road in Marinette.
