Get Help Managing Chronic Conditions At Workshop Hosted By Aurora Health CareMonday, February 09, 2009Marinette, Wis. - People living with a long-term health condition are encouraged to join a six-week workshop called ‘Personal Action Towards Health,' or PATH, that will be held Thursday, March 5 through Thursday, April 9. The class will meet once a week on Thursdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Aurora Health Center in Marinette, 4061 Old Peshtigo Road. People living with asthma, arthritis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), congestive heart failure, diabetes, fibromyalgia, heart disease, obesity or chronic pain are encouraged to attend with family, friends and caregivers. After the program, people will be better prepared to cope with feelings of sadness, deal with pain and fatigue, eat better, manage medications, relax and discuss health care needs.
