Family Medicine Provider Jay Wise Moves to Aurora QuickCare in Green BayWednesday, February 25, 2009
Green Bay, Wis. - Jay Wise, a local health care provider, has joined Aurora QuickCare inside the Wal-Mart at 2440 W. Mason St., Green Bay.
"Aurora QuickCare is a good fit," said Wise, a certified physician assistant who has worked in family medicine for more than 12 years. "It's a clinic that offers people an affordable option for common family illnesses. In today's challenging economy, QuickCare is a good way to help ensure people don't put off treatment, which can lead to more complex and costlier consequences."
Aurora QuickCare sites are staffed by health care providers supported by Aurora's extensive network of physicians and facilities. QuickCare staff can assess patients, write prescriptions, advise individuals on how to manage symptoms, or tell them if they will need additional care.
Wise said one of the attractions to QuickCare is that the clinics are part of an integrated health system so patients who need follow-up care can easily be referred to their primary care physician. Additionally, the medical information is readily available to physicians enabling a stronger continuity of care.
Wise lives in Ashwaubenon with his wife and six children, ages 3 to 11.
