Aurora BayCare Announces New Board Officers

Green Bay, Wis. - Aurora BayCare Medical Center recently named the following officers for the hospital's board of managers:
  • Jeff Mason, chief executive officer of BayCare Clinic, as president.
  • Francis Wolf, M.D., president of BayCare Clinic, as vice president.
  • David Eager, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Aurora Health Care, as secretary/treasurer.

Other board members include:

  • Edward Barylak, M.D., an Aurora medical oncologist;
  • Richard Heckert, M.D., a BayCare Clinic ophthalmologist;
  • Jeffery Keller, M.D., a BayCare Clinic general and vascular surgeon;
  • Laurie Mahoney, Aurora Health Care's senior vice president of human resources;
  • Stephen Sehring, M.D., an Aurora OB/GYN;
  • Linda Smith, executive vice president of Aurora's North Region;
  • Paul Summerside, M.D., BayCare Clinic's chief medical officer.

Aurora BayCare's board of managers is responsible for the policy formation, decision making and general oversight of the 167-bed, full-service tertiary care hospital located at 2845 Greenbrier Road on Green Bay's east side. It opened in September 2001 as a joint effort of Aurora Health Care and BayCare Clinic.

Aurora Health Care is a not-for-profit Wisconsin health care provider and a nationally recognized leader in efforts to improve the quality of health care. Aurora offers services at sites in more than 90 communities throughout eastern Wisconsin.

BayCare Clinic is the largest physician-owned specialty-care clinic in Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is comprised of 100 specialty physicians with expertise in more than 20 specialties. BayCare Clinic physicians have served patients in Green Bay and the surrounding region for more than 25 years.
