All About the Family: Family Health Expo at Aurora Health Center in WaterfordTuesday, April 21, 2009
Waterford, Wis. -- Our experienced and knowledgeable health care professionals help keep families healthy. As part of the Waterford Chamber's Family Fest event, Aurora Health Center in Waterford is once again hosting a Family Health Expo featuring free glucose and blood pressure screenings, fingerprinting for children, and biofeedback for women. Learn more about various health topics including advanced directives, asthma, allergies, and preventative health.
The event is scheduled from 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, May 9, Aurora Health Center, 818 Forrest Lane, Waterford, located near McDonalds on Highway 36. For more information, please call 1-800-499-5736. The event is free.
"Health information is one of the ways of keeping your family healthy,'' said Mary Chris Lynch, registered nurse and community educator, Aurora Health Care. "We will have other Aurora Health Care professionals on hand to discuss sun safety, osteoporosis, breast health, urgent care, and healthy nutrition. This is an excellent opportunity to talk with a number of health care experts in one location about your health-related questions.''
The day will also feature body fat analysis, echocardiogram demonstrations, cholesterol screenings, and bone density screenings. Health care professionals from Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington, including breast care coordinators and pastoral care will be on hand, along with representatives from Aurora Wellness Center and Aurora Pharmacy.
