Breast Surgeon Joins Comprehensive Breast Care Center at Aurora BayCareWednesday, September 23, 2009
Green Bay, Wis. - William Owens, M.D., a board-certified surgeon specializing in breast disease, has joined the Comprehensive Breast Care Center located at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, 2845 Greenbrier Road.
Owens brings experience in breast surgery including image-guided biopsy procedures and sentinel node biopsy, lumpectomy, oncoplastic breast procedures, mastectomy and placement of partial breast irradiation devices.
Owens received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison, Wis., and completed a residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY.
He is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

Owens has been named the American Cancer Society's Community Champion for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk to be held on October 10.
