Aurora Pharmacy provides seasonal flu shotsWednesday, September 30, 2009Milwaukee, Wis. – Seasonal flu shots are now available at select Aurora Pharmacy sites. “We are pleased to offer pharmacy services that include seasonal flu vaccinations,” said John Gates, RPh, director of retail pharmacies for Aurora. “It’s another convenience we can offer our patients to preserve their health and to save time.” Cost for a seasonal flu vaccination is $30 when paying by cash or credit card, and pneumonia shots are $45. For those on Medicare, Medicare Part B Plans are accepted. Aurora Health Care has a single flu Web site that provides background information about the seasonal flu and H1N1 flu as well as where you can find flu immunizations throughout Aurora. Just log on to www.Aurora.org/flu to find an Aurora Pharmacy, doctor’s office, Aurora QuickCare or Aurora Visiting Nurse Association Shoo the Flu clinic near you.
