Tim Sullivan, Tom Bolger and Gail Hanson named to Aurora Board of DirectorsTuesday, January 12, 2010
Milwaukee – Aurora Health Care announced today that Timothy Sullivan of Bucyrus International, Thomas Bolger of Harris Bank and Gail Hanson of the State of Wisconsin Investment Board have been elected to the organization’s Board of Directors.
Sullivan serves as the president and chief executive officer of Bucyrus International, Inc. This organization began in the late 19th century and continues to produce mining equipment across the globe. Sullivan is a long-time Wisconsin resident and provides his guidance and leadership to many nonprofit organizations, such as the United Way of Greater Milwaukee, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Milwaukee.
Bolger is the president of the Wisconsin District of Harris Bank, which serves more than 1.2 million customers in Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana. Bolger has served as a board member for a number of non-profit organizations, including Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee and is now transitioning from the board of Aurora Health Care’s metro region to the Aurora system’s governing board.
Hanson, the deputy executive director of the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, is responsible for oversight of more than $70 billion in assets. Throughout her career, she has established herself as a leader in insurance and financial services, serving in financial leadership positions for Blue Cross & Blue Shield United of Wisconsin and Price Waterhouse.
