Town of Summit, Wis. – Aurora Medical Center in the Town of Summit will welcome its first patients on Monday, March 1, however, the community can preview the new regional medical center at a community open house from noon to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27.

Aurora Health Care is proud to introduce this new 110-bed, state-of-the-art hospital that will set a new standard for health care throughout the region. Residents will experience the hospital through tours, informative exhibits, and health screenings, plus enjoy family-friendly activities.

Tours will provide a firsthand look at the uniquely designed medical campus, including patient areas such as the fully-equipped emergency department including trauma rooms; one-of-a-kind intensive care unit; as well as labor and delivery rooms and pediatric unit designed to meet the special health care needs of mothers and babies.

The new Aurora Wilkinson Medical Clinic opened early on October 26, 2009, but when the hospital opens, the entire medical campus will become fully operational. This means patients and the people of Waukesha and Jefferson counties will experience fully coordinated healthcare, all in one location.
