Ripon, Wis. – Aurora Health Center in Ripon will hold its monthly diabetes support group meeting on Thursday, April 22. Participants can join the 2:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. session at the clinic, 1242 W. Fond du Lac Street in Ripon.
Brian Stigen, manager of Ripon’s Anytime Fitness will be the featured speaker.
Weighing 425 pounds, and suffering from diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and sciatica pain, Brian began a weight loss and exercise program that allowed him to shed more than 200 pounds, all his medications, and his sleep apnea machine. Today Brian manages Anytime Fitness and works with others to help them succeed at getting healthy through weight loss and exercise. According to Brian, “It’s all about weight loss and control! Anytime Fitness can help you if you really want it. Try and tell me that it can’t be done!”

All support groups will take place on the fourth Thursday of each month and will meet from March through May and will resume in September. Participants are welcome to attend either the 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. session or the 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. session.
