Presentation aims to discuss diabetes and eye care

Two Rivers, Wis. – Individuals with diabetes are invited to attend a presentation about diabetes and eye care on Monday, May 3 as part of a monthly Diabetes Support Group conducted at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Ophthalmologist and retina specialist Dr. ThucAnh Multerer will give a presentation on diabetes and eye heath and will be available for questions for those in attendance. She will provide information related to preventing, detecting and treating vision complications that can be experienced among people with diabetes.

The event will take place Monday, May 3 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers, 5000 Memorial Drive.

Being diagnosed with diabetes can be life altering. Learning from others and sharing individual experiences can help people with diabetes cope with the disease in daily life. Registration for the support group presentation is not required and there is no cost to attend. For more information please call 920-794-5200.
