Aurora Health Care in Oshkosh hosts Second Annual 5K Walk/Run for CancerWednesday, June 02, 2010Oshkosh, Wis. – Join Aurora Health Care at the second annual Aurora 5K Walk/Run for Cancer on Saturday, June 5 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, 855 N. Westhaven Drive. Registration begins at 7 a.m. The Aurora 5K Walk/Run for Cancer brings people together in a healthy activity for a worthy cause, raising money to help the fight against cancer. It’s fun for families and builds camaraderie among company employees. All proceeds from entry fees, pledges and donations go to Vince Lombardi Charitable Funds to benefit the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in Oshkosh – serving cancer patients in Oshkosh and surrounding communities. Entry fees are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages three to 10. Children under two are free. Strollers and wagons are more than welcome on the walk/run course, but please do not bring pets. Registration and pledge forms are available at any Aurora Health Care facility in the Oshkosh area, online at www.Aurora.org/HelpAHF or by calling 920-303-8765 to request one be mailed to your home.
