Marinette, Wis. – Individuals with diabetes are invited to attend “Pharmacy: Diabetics and Medication” on Tuesday, July 20 to take part in a discussion with Aurora health professionals as part of the monthly Diabetes Support Group at Aurora Health Center in Marinette. The group meets on a monthly basis to provide support and education to those living with diabetes.

Neil Tuthill, Aurora Pharmacy Manager, will discuss different oral diabetes medications, possible risk factors, recent claims made about the medications, and any possible side effects, as well as answering any questions individuals may have.

The event will take place Tuesday, July 20 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Aurora Health Center in Marinette, 4061 Old Peshtigo Road.
Being diagnosed with diabetes can be life altering. Learning from others and sharing individual experiences can help individuals with diabetes cope with the disease in daily life. Registration is not required to attend Diabetes Support Group events. For more information please call 715-735-7421.
