Milwaukee - The Premier healthcare alliance granted honorable mention to 10 Aurora Health Care facilities in its inaugural QUEST® Award for High Value Healthcare. The Aurora facilities were recognized for excellence in high-value care delivery in the nationwide performance improvement collaborative.

The following Aurora Health Care facilities earned honorable mention in the QUEST Award for High Value Healthcare:

• Aurora Sinai Medical Center
• Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center
• Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore
• Aurora West Allis Memorial Hospital

The award recognizes healthcare facilities for reaching top performance thresholds in three areas:

• Evidence-based care: Delivering the most reliable and effective care based on national guidelines that follow proven practices.
  
• Mortality: Eliminating avoidable hospital deaths.
  
• Cost of care: Safely reducing the cost of care for each patient's hospitalization.

The Aurora Health Care facilities were recognized at Premier’s annual Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition in Nashville, Tenn., on June 15.
