Public invited to help celebrate Aurora BayCare Medical Center's 10th anniversaryWednesday, September 07, 2011
Complimentary health screening available at Sept. 26th event
Green Bay, Wis. – Aurora BayCare Medical Center is celebrating its 10th anniversary on Monday, Sept. 26th and the public is invited to join in the festivities between 6:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the facility’s atrium.
“This is our opportunity to say thank you to the community for believing in, and supporting our mission here at Aurora BayCare Medical Center for the past 10 years,” said Daniel Meyer. “We’re very proud of what we’ve been able to build here and look forward to the future as we develop our services and expand our commitment to being a leading medical center.”
Aurora BayCare opened in September 2001 as a joint venture between Aurora Health Care and BayCare Clinic and has distinguished itself as a provider of quality and efficient care. Honors include being ranked among the top 100 hospitals by Thomson Reuters, including the top 50 for cardiovascular care, in addition to being named the top performing hospital in the entire country by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS).
Aurora BayCare has also distinguished itself as a leader in education and research. Patients have access to a variety of clinical trials and it is an accredited satellite campus for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Free blood pressure screenings will also be available. All guests will receive a complimentary thermometer and balloons will be available for children.
