9th Annual Crystal Ball hosted by Aurora Memorial Hospital of BurlingtonThursday, January 12, 2012
Burlington, Wis. — Mark your calendar for Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington’s 9th Annual Crystal Ball on Saturday, Feb. 4at 6 p.m. at Veterans Terrace at Echo Park in Burlington.
This black-tie optional event features gourmet foods, and live and silent auctions. In addition, attendees will be able to dance and enjoy the music of North Coast Orchestra, a nine-piece band. Honorary chairperson of this year’s event is Rama Venu, MD, a dedicated gastroenterologist who has served the Burlington community for more than 32 years.
Proceeds from the Crystal Ball will purchase new equipment for Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington’s rehabilitation services, including a leg-curl machine, treadmill and two fluidotherapy machines. “I have witnessed how support from our community can make a dramatic difference to the patients who depend on our hospital for their health needs,” said Michelle Weber, foundation development officer. “This event would not be possible without the involvement and dedication of our energetic community volunteers. Their hard work and support is a true testament of their commitment to improve the health and well-being of our community.”
This annual event is organized by a community volunteer committee, including Carol Chaffee, Mike Dickert, Terry Fehl, Sue Harris, Patricia Impens, Kim Kempken, Julie Knowles, Jordan Kush, Jeanne Otter, Tony Rosso, Kurt Seebacher, Pat Spiegelhoff, Jennifer Stephens and Michelle Weber.
