Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center recognized for providing safe, efficient and effective careMonday, June 11, 2012Sheboygan, WI – The Premier healthcare alliance has presented Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center with the QUEST Award for High-value Healthcare. The award recognizes Aurora Sheboygan for excellence in high-value care delivery in the nationwide performance improvement collaborative. Aurora Sheboygan was one of nine finalists out of 303 QUEST participating hospitals to receive the award. To do this, Aurora Sheboygan met thresholds over the first three quarters of the 2011 calendar year in the following categories:
QUEST hospitals monitor and measure performance to ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care. In their first three years, 157 QUEST hospitals saved nearly 25,000 lives and $4.5 billion.
