Elkhorn, WI — Aurora Lakeland Medical Center’s board members recently announced that community members, Aurora employees and the Aurora Health Care Foundation helped raise $664,473 to support the hospital this year.

Projects that received funding included the purchase of a urology laser, three electronic fetal monitoring systems and three Erbe Machines, used for gastrointestinal procedures such as colonoscopies. Programs such as teddy bears for children after surgery and halo sleep sacks for newborns also received funding.

Aurora Health Care is a not-for-profit Wisconsin health care provider and a nationally recognized leader in efforts to improve the quality of health care. Aurora offers services at sites in more than 90 communities throughout eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
