Laird named president of Aurora Medical Centers in Grafton and Washington County

Grafton, WI – Michael Laird, FACHE, has been named president of Aurora Medical Center in Grafton and Aurora Medical Center in Washington County.

Laird has extensive experience in health care, serving as chief executive officer at a number of hospitals over the years, most recently at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital in West Bend.

Laird’s unique understanding of our market will be invaluable as he assumes the reigns of both medical centers,” said Brad Hahn, executive vice president of finance for Aurora Health Care. “One president leading both hospitals will ensure a holistic approach to providing integrated and cost-efficient care. He will lay the foundation for greater collaboration on growth opportunities and delivering optimum services to our patients in these communities.”

Laird holds a master of hospital and health administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
