The Wisconsin affiliate of the American Heart Association awarded Jeffrey Britton, MD, a pediatrician at Aurora Sheboygan Clinic, the Wisconsin 2004 Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) instructor of the year award. Dr. Britton Founded the PALS course at LakeshoreTechnical College (LTC) in Cleveland in the spring of 1996. Dr. Britton has been teaching PALS there ever since. He holds two courses a year. Dr. Britton has taught dozens of nurses and paramedics, and even a few doctors, in the Sheboygan and Manitowoc region that LTC serves. The president of Lakeshore, Mike Lanser, recently presented the award to Dr. Britton.
