Aurora is a national leader in efforts to improve the quality of health care. According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Aurora Health Care has ranked among the top performing health systems in America since the inception of a national patient quality initiative. The Aurora Health Care system includes 15 hospitals, 155 clinics, 82 retail pharmacies, and the largest home health agency in the state, providing care in more than 90 communities throughout eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
As a not-for-profit organization, Aurora Health Care reinvests all revenues, after expenses, back into improving health care for individuals living in the communities we serve. As with most health care systems, patient and insurance revenues do not begin to cover the total costs of patient care services, cutting-edge technology, and capital needs required to provide the very best in health care delivery. It is only through the generosity of people that we continue to provide the standard of excellence for which we are known.
