Support Breast Health this October with Pink Possible
This year, an estimated 192,000 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer. It is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer death for women in the U.S. Each October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month brings attention to these sobering facts, and urges all of us to join together to help find a cure.
Aurora Health Care is the leading breast cancer care provider in Wisconsin, serving women during each phase from diagnosis and treatment to recovery and navigating life after cancer. Aurora provides care to more than 1,200 women each year who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, more than any other health care provider in the state of Wisconsin.
In an effort to increase awareness and raise needed funds for our patients and their families, Aurora Health Care is partnering with community leaders in eastern Wisconsin and offering a variety of ways for you to show your support through Pink Possible.

All proceeds from these efforts will benefit the Aurora Breast Health Funds, which provides breast cancer education, prevention and survivorship activities. Specifically, funds will be used to help support community outreach that emphasizes the importance of screenings and early detection, as well as provide patients with information and resources designed to improve their knowledge about the disease and overall quality of life before, during and after treatment. Breast cancer affects thousands of women and their families each year. Your support will help provide education, prevention and survivorship services to women in your community post-treatment journey.
Your support of the Aurora Health Care Pink Possible Program is enhancing the lives of breast cancer survivors so they can look forward to a stronger, healthier future. Learn more about how funds raised in 2010 helped those who were diagnosed with breast cancer, receiving treatment or beginning their post-treatment journey.
