Aurora Lakeland Medical Center
Since 1917, Aurora Lakeland Medical Center has been dedicated to the health and welfare of the people who make Walworth County their home. Your gift will help ensure community members will continue to have local access to the best and most advanced treatment and health care services now and in the future.
Cardiac Care
As a community-based resource, Aurora Lakeland Medical Center provides
the latest technology in the treatment of patients afflicted with
cardiovascular disease.
Lactation Center
The Lactation Center offers consultative services for new moms who are
having complications with breast feeding. Gifts to this fund will
provide breast-feeding pumps and breast-feeding supplies for new moms
and their babies.
Mammogram Screening Program for uninsured and underinsured
patients in Walworth County
For a woman with limited income and without health insurance, this
screening tool is beyond her reach. This program is designed to provide
free mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women in Walworth County.
The mammogram screenings are totally funded through philanthropy.
Greatest Need Fund
Throughout the year, special needs arise that were unanticipated during
the capital budget process. Gifts to this fund allow Aurora Lakeland
Medical Center the flexibility to respond to unexpected needs.
Palliative Care Fund
As the average lifespan of
Americans is extended, the need for coordinated care through pain
management and end-of-life issues becomes more and more critical. This
fund will support the development of a program that offers our patients an
expert advocate to ensure the best quality of life possible.
Senior Services
The Senior Services Fund will help
to provide services and programs for the aging population in our
community.
Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program
The SANE program serves the residents of Racine, Walworth and Kenosha
counties. This is the only forensic evidence collection program serving
the rural areas of southeastern Wisconsin. With the increasing numbers of
victims seen each year, the need to have the most current information and
latest technology is imperative.
Teddy Bear Program
Contributions donated to this program will help to purchase teddy bears
for young patients visiting the hospital. Bears dressed in their "Aurora
Lakeland Medical Center scrubs”" are given to emergency service patients
to hold and hug.
Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic
The Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic enables patients in surrounding
communities to receive comprehensive cancer care, including medical and
radiation oncology, while remaining close to home and family.
Women's Health
Contributions to this fund will
flow to services and programs specifically relating to the special needs
of women.
