Memorial Hospital of Burlington Community Foundation

Established in 1987, the Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of community volunteers and hospital staff. In addition to being public ambassadors for the hospital, they meet quarterly to review various funding requests.

The 2009 directors are: Stuart Arnett, Kevin Bird, Secretary/Treasurer, John Hell, President, Patrick Lynch, Debi Miller, Jim Peterson, vice president, Laverne Schmidt, Kathleen Skowlund, and Stephen Welka, D.O.

From 24-hour emergency care and birthing to outpatient surgery and cardiology, the hospital and its caring professional staff continue to provide you and your family the very best in health care. Always at the forefront in women's health services, Memorial Hospital of Burlington Community Foundation has partnered with the Crystal Ball and the hospital's Auxiliary to bring digital mammography to the area. Together, they have pledged $500,000 over a three year period.

With your gift, you will receive a copy of Horizons, a newsletter to keep you informed on the hospital's programs and services and how philanthropy touches lives in the community.

Whether you join the Golden Leaf Society, the Heritage Club, give a tribute gift through The Rose Garden, or contribute to the Building Healthier Communities Campaign, you will be making an investment in the future.
