Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington
Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington is a general acute care hospital that has been serving Burlington and surrounding communities since 1924. Gifts to the hospital have played a crucial role in bringing quality health care to the communities we serve.
Breast Cancer Treatment Fund for Underinsured and Uninsured
This newly established fund was established with funds from the Crystal Ball and is totally funded through philanthropy. As a follow-up to the Free Mammogram Fund, a need was identified to establish a treatment program for breast cancer patients who are financially disadvantaged.
As a community-based resource, Memorial Hospital provides the latest technology in the treatment of patients afflicted with cardiovascular disease.
Greatest Need Fund
Throughout the year, special needs arise that were unanticipated during the capital budget process. Gifts to this fund allow Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington the flexibility to respond to unexpected needs.
Mammogram Screening Program for uninsured and underinsured patients
in the Burlington area
For a woman with limited income and without health insurance, this screening tool is beyond her reach. This program is designed to provide free mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women in Burlington. The mammogram screenings are totally funded through philanthropy.
Palliative Care Fund
As the average lifespan of Americans is extended, the need for coordinated care through pain management and end-of-life issues becomes more and more critical. This fund will support the development of a program that offers our patients an expert advocate to ensure the best quality of life possible.
The Senior Services Fund will help to provide services and programs for the aging population in our community.
Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program
The SANE program serves the residents of Racine, Walworth and Kenosha counties. This is the only forensic evidence collection program serving the rural areas of southeastern Wisconsin. With the increasing numbers of victims seen each year, the need to have the most current information and latest technology is imperative.
Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic
The Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic enables patients in Kenosha and surrounding communities to receive comprehensive cancer care, including medical and radiation oncology, while remaining close to home and family.
Contributions to this fund will flow to services and programs specifically relating to the special needs of women.
