Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha

Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha is a state-of-the art community hospital and clinic, with a patient-centered family focus. As the foremost health care resource in the area, your gift is important in bringing the very best in health care to community members throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

Greatest Need Fund
Throughout the year, special needs arise that were unanticipated during the capital budget process. Gifts to this fund allow Aurora Medical Center the flexibility to respond to unexpected needs.

Cardiac Care
As a community-based resource, Aurora Medical Center provides the latest technology in the treatment of patients afflicted with cardiovascular disease.

Low Income Newborn Follow-up Visit Clinic
Many of Aurora Medical Center's new moms are without means of pay or insurance coverage and, therefore, care is often provided without reimbursement. This program captures almost 100% response for the follow-up visit one or two days after delivery. Not only are we capturing an immediate opportunity to assess newborns in their first several days, we are able to support the new moms with answers and serve as a resource.

Prescription Funding for Emergency Department Pediatric Patients
Funded through charitable gifts, this program was established to assist parents who are uninsured and those in need with their children's prescriptions. Often children go without their medicine because the parents do not have the money to fill the prescriptions written by the physician.

Free Mammogram Diagnostic and Ultrasound Screening Program
For a woman with limited income and without health insurance, this screening tool is beyond her reach. This program is designed to provide free mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women in Kenosha County. The mammogram screenings are totally funded through philanthropy.

Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program
The SANE program serves the residents of Racine, Walworth and Kenosha counties. This is the only forensic evidence collection program serving the rural areas of southeastern Wisconsin. With the increasing numbers of victims seen each year, the need to have the most current information and latest technology is imperative.

Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic
The Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic enables patients in Kenosha and surrounding communities to receive comprehensive cancer care, including medical and radiation oncology, while remaining close to home and family.

Geriatric Assessment Center
The Geriatric Assessment Center serves senior citizens and their families when seniors encounter a deficit in physical and mental health. A multidisciplinary team of specialists, trained in geriatric care, share in the evaluation and work together to provide solutions for the person experiencing decline as well as the patient's family members. This fund helps support those patients unable to pay for these services.
